Today I made my oh so yummy meatballs. These meatballs are juicy and flavorful. They're sure to be a big hit with the family. You can serve them with spaghetti, or make a sub. Try them, you'll like them.
This is what you'll need:
1 lb ground beef
1 lb ground turkey
1 small white onion (diced)
1 green pepper (diced)
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1 cup finely shredded parmesan cheese
1 1/2 cup bread crumbs
2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
Salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, add ground beef and ground turkey. Add onions, parsley, green pepper, garlic, cheese, bread crumbs, green onions, and 2 eggs. Using hands, mix well, without over working the meat, or the meatballs will come out tough and dry. Season with salt and pepper. Take meat and form into balls as large or as little as you like. Lightly coat baking dish with olive oil. Place meatballs on sheet about 2" apart. Drizzle top of meatballs with olive oil. Place into oven and cook for 40 minutes. Flip meatballs over after 20 minutes. Place in a large pot, with pasta sauce of your choice, and let simmer for 30 to 45 minutes. Move to a large serving bowl and top with some shredded parmesan cheese. Eat And Feed Your soul!
