Chicken In Garlic Gravy

12 chicken wings
2 cups of beef broth
1 onion diced
2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp cooking oil
3 garlic cloves sliced
1 tbsp soul seasoning
1 tbsp garlic powder
2 tbsp red pepper flakes
salt and pepper

Cut of and discard tips from wings, and cut each wing at the joint to make two pieces. Season chicken wings with salt and pepper.  Heat oil in a large pan over a medium high heat. Add chicken. Cook for about 5 minutes per side. Remove chicken, cover with foil. Add onions and garlic to drippings in pan, cook until golden brown about 5 minutes.  Add flour, stir for about 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown. Add broth, garlic powder, and soul seasoning and stir continually until thickens slightly. Add chicken and red pepper flakes and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes. Serve.
